Samantha's role is a particular challenging role to play as
it is quite a sensitive and emotional role. It is particularly challenging to
keep a straight face yet full of emotion. Our group has to be careful when
acting because although we are not getting marked on that, the scenario we have
chosen requires our acting to be on point as if it isn't good it could
potentially affect the way the film is presented. Samantha goes through ups and
downs in her long term young relationship with "Michael" her
boyfriend since the age of 14, who she met in school. The idea of domestic
abuse is very sensitive and we do not want the title sequence to come across as
too harsh, so we are going to give off the idea that domestic abuse is
occurring but no violence is actually seen.
